Thousands of Women ranked their attraction to male hobbies and referred to crypto as one of the most unattractive habits men ever had, some of them even prefer Cosplayers over crypto men.
According to a Date Psychology survey report, men are less attractive to women when they have a hobby of crypto trading. Women always rate men with a reading hobby over crypto men.
A recent poll conducted on August 24, by datepsychologist – a blog, singles out crypto as the ninth least appealing pastime for males. The sample used in the survey was a convenience sample of 814 participants, of whom 48% were female.
The authors also pointed out that, based on the previous surveys, the samples include women with ‘high social status, education level and are predominantly white.’
Responses received from all the female respondents regarding 74 hobbies were asked to rate them as ‘attractive’ or ‘unattractive. Only 23. 1% of the respondents considered crypto as an interesting hobby while 31% considered other pastimes such as comic books and cosplaying as interesting.
This made crypto the second least masculine or ‘nerdy’ hobby for women, behind the Funko product collecting, which are bobblehead figures in pop culture and media.

The male respondents were asked which hobbies they believed women would like, and 13 of the 15 were selected. Seven percent of the male participants were of the view that women would be inclined toward men engaged in crypto. However, most men believed that women would find playing an instrument the most sexy hobby, and they were right.
Among those, ladies considered reading as being the most attractive activity for a man, which was followed by studying or mastering a foreign language as well as learning to play a musical instrument, with the corresponding percentages amounting to 98. 2, 95.6, and 95. 4, respectively.
They pointed out that for this same reason, people should choose their hobbies by measuring their interests, rather than what other people deem as appealing; such choices may not last long.
The most recent study results are based on the Pew Research poll conducted in April 2023 with 10,701 American adults, out of which 5,936 were women, and showed that women were less likely than men to invest, trade or use cryptocurrencies.
While 25% of the surveyed men said they had ever traded, used, or invested in cryptocurrency, only 10% of women claimed the same. A third of women and men had sold cryptocurrency in the past; 40% of women who had ever used cryptocurrency said they no longer owned it, while 30% of men said the same.
