Scottie Pippen, a famous basketball star, recently got some laughs online after sharing that Satoshi Nakamoto, the secret creator of Bitcoin, appeared in his dream and said Bitcoin would reach $84,650 on November 5.
People on social media had mixed reactions to his strange post, with some confused and others making fun of him. One person even commented, “This is so weird. Who is running this account?” reacting to Pippen’s surprising claim.
Some people noticed that Pippen’s post happened just as Bitcoin’s price took another dive. “This couldn’t have been a more well-timed tweet,” someone joked on X, as Bitcoin fell to a low of $55,602 earlier today.
As reported by famous news website, Pippen got into NFTs in 2022 by launching his own collection. In June, he showed more interest in crypto by asking whether he should choose Ethereum or Solana. There were rumors that Pippen might launch his own meme coin, but instead, he introduced a tokenized version of the basketball from the 1991 Chicago Bulls vs. Los Angeles Lakers finals.
However, fans were upset because buying the tokens wouldn’t mean owning the actual basketball; Pippen would still keep it.
